Training and research
Patrick Jeuniaux’s background at KU Leuven includes further training in artificial intelligence and a research assistant position in Marie-Francine Moens’s Language Intelligence and Information Retrieval (LIIR) laboratory.
The dissertation Capture of discursive meanings in representations examined the representation of meaning in discourse, supervised by Walter Schaeken and Frank Van Eynde.
Research at LIIR addressed information extraction and coreference resolution: recognising expressions that refer to the same entity in a text.
